About the Author
The Rev. Dr. Donald R. Hayes, DTh
Born and raised in South Carolina, Dr. Hayes has devoted his life to the intersection of deep theological scholarship and hands-on pastoral care. As an Anglican priest, hospice chaplain, clinical trauma chaplain, and Major in the South Carolina State Guard, his ministry spans every stage of human experience.
His education — spanning Wofford College, American University, L'Abri Institute, St. Andrews Seminary, and Oxford — informs a writing style that is both rigorously theological and warmly accessible.
