About the Author
The Rev. Dr. Donald R. Hayes, DTh, DMin
Born and raised in South Carolina, Dr. Hayes has devoted his life to the intersection of deep theological scholarship and hands-on pastoral care. As an Anglican priest, hospice chaplain, clinical trauma chaplain, and Chaplain Colonel, South Carolina State Guard, his ministry spans every stage of human experience.
His education — spanning Wofford College, L'Abri Fellowship in Switzerland, and St. Edmund Hall, Oxford, culminating in the DTh and DMin — informs a writing style that is both rigorously theological and warmly accessible.
